A traditional white monoplex and a Pimapen ad-hoc monoplex side by side in the Karaköy underground market, once famed for its replica gun shops.

The junction above is the subject of an art installation in the 2013 Istanbul Bienale. The piece highlights that this major transport nexus is almost impossible to traverse.
