Taksim Caddesi After the Gezi Riots

A white quadruplex that at one time was a soda stand in Taksim Caddesi, which is near Taksim Square. The picture above was taken soon after the Gezi Riots. The graffitied kiosk is surrounded by the detritus of the rioting, such as batons of wood and cobble stones used as missiles.

UPDATE: The picture below was taken a short while after the riot were over. The pavement has been relayed and the graffiti removed, which said "You too don't be happy Emi (sic)"
