Moda. Two stunning photographs of this precariously balanced guard hut outside an abandoned block of flats in the Moda district on Istanbul's Asian side.

Our correspondent writes: "Key attributes are that its precariously resting on stairs supported by a few tiles. Contains a 1999 Macintosh monitor, coat hanger, tea pot and a standard issue Ataturk calendar. Its purpose is a shelter for the guard to keep squatters out of the empty apartment building in front of which it is perched."
