Sultangazi

A white monoplex standing on a concrete plinth found in Sultangazi. This newly built inner-city suburb is populated by mainly Alevis and Kurds and was also the scene of many, mostly unreported, riots during the summer of Gezi.

Our correspondent writes: "It's by a water distribution warehouse I think (see the name on the top of the box) between Sultangazi and Gazi Mahallesi. There's an amazing quarry and slum next to it near Gazi Mahellesi."
