This pagoda-style white monoplex stands at the entrance to the construction site of the new Park Hotel. The building is constructed around the skeleton of a notorious eyesore on the Istanbul skyline - the rotting and half-built illegal multi-storey car park and hotel complex known as the ghost hotel. This was built on the site of the former historic Park Hotel across the road from the as-was German embassy.
