In the background can be seen the domed roof of one of the few Ottoman-style fish-grilling boats tethered to the shoreline at Eminönü. In high winds, they pitch and yaw wildly as the authentically-dressed Ottoman grill-men flip authentic fillets of locally imported Norwegian mackerel.
