Kiosk 129-135: Galata Bridge. Each contain a stool and every so often a guvenlikci (security man).

Standing sentry on the new Galata Bridge spanning the timeless Golden Horn, these forlorn kiosks echo times gone by, when the plucky Catholic Genoese and Venetian inhabitants of the city of Pera, just across the water, banded together with their Byzantine Orthodox brethren to fend off the invading Ottoman hoards. (They did take a fair bit of persuading, mind you.) Now they protect overpriced fish restauranteurs from being attacked by tourists suddenly realising the exchange rate wasn't quite as good as they first thought it was.
