Taksim Caddesi

The corner of Tarlabasi Boulevard and Taksim Sokak, this quadruplex contains numerous displays of fizzy and non-fizzy, flavoured (mostly lemon) and unflavoured Sirma brand water. Also, presumably, a chair and a cash register.

The amount of through traffic at this spot on a Saturday night is considerable. Many customers are revelers making their way to Taksim Square –  a major transport hub – after a night of water pipe smoking and communal singing. Many of them may even be drunk, but it's unlikely.
