TRT Car Park, Pera

Kiosk 60: TRT car park, Pera. Contains carp parking attendant's accoutrements, as well as ancillary bollard and demijohn of water.

This humble kiosk stands in front of two icons of the Pera district of Istanbul: the striking modernism of the  Marmara Pera built in 1970 and the grand refinement of the Pera Palas built in 1892. In a century's time, this humble fibreglass structure, extruded in the 1990s, could also play host to royalty, statesmen and celebrity authors.
